When Marta asked me if I had taken the quiz to select a presidential candidate, I had to confess that I had taken a quiz that very day. It was not, however, the quiz she expected. I'd taken the quiz, Are you a Nicki?
During this season of political campaigning, i've been absorbed in the first season of Big Love, the story of a polygamist and his three wives (perhaps a fourth in the 2nd season but I'm not there yet). I love sister-wife number 1 and number 2, and am getting a bit more fond of sister-wife number 3. I wish that I could say that my fondness for the presidential candidates was growing, but alas, it is not.
Just days from the California primary, here are the results of my quiz. According to the survey, I am a Nicki and presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich has values that most closely align with my own. Take the quizzes and let me know where you land.
Not so surprising to be aligned with Kucinich, but a little shocked to be a Nicki on my FIRST go round answering the Big Love Quiz. So....I took it again and didn't think about the answers, just gut response to each one. Even had a tie breaker question, something about being the aggressor in bed! Well, turns out I'm a Barb, which suits me better. So maybe on a good day, I'm a Barb and on a bad day I'm a Nicki??? I love all three sister wives. I get that happy feeling just watching/listening to the opening of the show!! Warped, but true.

OMG Russell and I are totally obsessed with Big Love! We binged our way through each season, unable to space the shows out into anything resembling reasonable. That is a GREAT show. I promise not to divulge any secrets from Season 2. All I'll say is: you want to Netflix that puppy now -- you're not going to want to wait after the end of Season 1!
Here are the results of my quizzes (hilarious):
I am a Barb and Dennis Kucinich speaks for me. Go figure! I was a little afraid and a little sure that it would tell me I was a Margene. But Barb -- who knew?
BTW, you are so *not* a Nicki. Are you sure you answered all the questions?
